Yesterday morning, some teachers and professors from Hong Kong University & Shanghai Normal University came to visit our kindergarten. We provided them with a glimpse of the different parts our kindergarten, including an introduction to the Xiwai Kindergarten, an English Broadcast, a Demo lesson, and a Teachers’ Team Building session.

Our guests were amazed! They were particularly impressed by the English Broadcast, astonished that the kids were able to play the “Inflatable Stick Game” and be confident to practice speaking English at the same time. They also liked the drum part, stating that combining music and English together is a great idea that make kids feel interested and willing to join in and enjoy the activities.

The visitors all enjoyed the “Spots and Lines Game”, and could easily see the great relationship between teachers and students during the games. Teacher Sally is so creative by using different ways to make kids pay attention and trying to cooperate with their classmates, then to find out the right way to stand on the lines as soon as possible. They found that the idea of “Global Citizen Education” is in each of these parts.

We also received some other great ideas from our visitors, and we will try our best to explore and innovate them in the future. We are on the right road to success…

2016年12月28日，上海师范大学现代校长研修中心张博士带领上海师范大学及香港大学的研究生一行16人来我园进行幼教学术研讨及交流。历时半天的活动，从幼儿园课程介绍、英语小广播展示、园本课程开展（国际小公民品质培养项目）、幼儿园师资队伍建设、西幼原创音乐话剧介绍到小组式交流互动研讨，在有限的时间内让参观团老师们感受到了西外人的文化，了解西外幼儿是如何在“学会生活、学会学习、学会做人、学会共存”的教育理念下逐步养成10大国际公民核心素养……生动有趣的半日活动，给参观团的老师们留下了极其深刻的印象，他们频频竖起了大拇指。

在交流反馈中，参观团的教授及老师们对于我园的外教团队甚是赞赏：在英语小广播活动中外教主持风趣幽默，全程带动孩子们积极参与英语游戏，让孩子们在自由开放的情景中锻炼口语，大大增强了他们的自信心。整场活动将音乐鼓点和英语游戏有效融合，增加了英语口语锻炼的趣味性，更加激发孩子们积极参与其中……

香港大学幼教界同仁对我园园本课程教学现场的评价也颇高。他们感受到了寓教于乐的的教育理念；感受到了孩子们在一个日常活动中对多元信号的感知、对游戏规则的理解与遵守、团队的合作与协商等等；感受到了西外幼儿园国际小公民品质在一日生活中的渗透性教育。

最后，大家针对西外幼儿园团队建设的举措进行了深度交流，西幼的教师团队及幼儿的品质素养让参观团队老师们啧啧称赞！

西外十年沉淀，参观团老师们感受到西幼教师团队的团结、创新、专业与敬业，他们深深被我们的校园文化所感动。每一次对外交流都是拓宽教育的好时机，每次一对外交流都会有收获，西幼教师团队坚持探索、创新，坚持着这份幼教梦，为孩子们的未来努力前行！
