Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Saint Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious celebration that happens annually on the 17thof March to recognize patron saint of Ireland.

This year at XiWai we decided to use the theme “Color me Green” in our classrooms. Our students were excited, mainly because they were going to paint everything green!  Our teachers took it a bit further and wanted to encourage the kids to recycle and be more environmentally friendly .

Our PK2 grade level used green paint to hand paint clovers on their white t-shirts, K1 grade used green finger painting and our K2 grade level did green tie-dye t-shirts.

Love The Earth, Love ourselves. Although this is only a special holiday for Ireland, we still hope our lives will be full of green. Let’s protect our earth mommy and make our lives healthier.
